What are "Mouse Races?"
The mouse races themselves are a fun filled event where patrons make use of “racing chips” to place wagers on the outcome of a six mouse race. Racing chips can be purchased for $2.00 a chip the night of the event. Also taking place: Mouse Roulette, 50/50 Raffle, and Silent Auction.
This event is set to take place on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Days Inn, 300 Broadway Ave East in Mattoon. The doors open 6:30 p.m. and the first race starts at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale now. Go here to order or for more information on becoming an event sponsor. A single ticket is $15.00 or a pair of tickets is $25.00. Ticket price includes Hors d’oeuvre buffet from Don Sol. A cash bar will also be available.
